Perhaps this is a rebellion against super-energy-efficient, environmentally friendly light bulbs.. but vintage bulbs are super trendy right now. Anthropologie offers the most stylish industrial-looking pendant lamps for housing Edison-style filament bulbs, but the craze has hit most major furniture stores (from Pottery Barn to Restoration Hardware). While lamps/pendants aren’t cheap, you can get beautiful old-style bulbs for under $10-$20:
