Cutest Munny Custom Ever

This Munny custom was made by Silvia Portella for the 2009 MunnyWorld Custom Contest. Needless to say, this little guy was picked as one of the five winners and will be featured in an upcoming Munny exhibition in NYC. Silvia is a very talented freelance illustrator living in Germany and designed this Munny as a woodland creature (Mütze means wool hat in German) – view more of Silvia’s creations here.

Beautiful Food Dye Photography

These surreal photos were taken by Corey Holms using water and ordinary food dye. The beauty really comes from the amazing colors and lovely composition, which I’m sure isn’t easy to control with liquids. See all the gorgeous photos on Flickr or buy prints here.

There’s nothing super fancy about these thin plastic iPhone stands except, of course, for the cute designer graphics that decorate them. The portable, bendable pieces benefits from designers like Meomi, Joshua Davis, and Bartalos and retail for $7.99 per pair. LEGO Rock Band

I’m a fan of the LEGO video games (LEGO Star Wars being the best of course), which is why I’m excited for this LEGO Rock Band variation. The game promises humor and family fun alongside the rocking out (you can customize your little characters and all the notes are actually LEGO bricks!). With music stars like David Bowie and Iggy Pop (who will VO the tutorials), the November release can’t come soon enough. View the running song tracklist here, and pre-order the game from Amazon to make sure you have it for x-mas.

‘Chi’s Sweet Home’ – Anime About a Kitten

Chi’s Sweet Home is a Japanese Anime based on a Manga series by Konami Kanata. Not only does the show revolve entirely around a kitten’s life, but the actual cat mannerisms are spot on and absolutely adorable! The episodes are pretty short, each running at around 3 minutes, but contain so much super-packed kitty cuteness that the length seems appropriate.

To get your Chi’s Sweet Home fix watch the first episode after the jump, or hit up CrunchyRoll for tons of full episodes (and yes, they’re subtitled!).

CubeDudes: Holy LEGO Batman!

LEGOs can be used to make just about anything! Angus MacLane, an animator at PIXAR, however, makes the awesomest pop-culture characters using a 3×3 scale and super-deformed (big head, small body) proportions. You can see his 100+ figures on Flickr, or read a behind-the-scenes interview here. (via The Coolist)
